Do you think you might need someone to talk to?
Hello, I’m Fraser McAlpine and I’m a counsellor
What can I talk about?
Anything that is troubling you. I offer person-centred therapy, which means you’re the expert in your own problems. We can find the solutions together. As well as my diploma training, I have been working for First Light and Valued Lives, so I have experience of dealing with some very difficult topics, some of which I have listed at the bottom of this page.
I currently offer one-to-one sessions with adults, and to older children aged 12 – 18 years.
What does it cost?
£45 for a 1 hour session, or there’s a £30 concessionary rate.
Do I have to come to you?
If you want to. I have a room in Falmouth and will arrange other spaces if that proves to be inaccessible. I also offer telephone and online counselling sessions at the same rates.
If you have particular communication needs - due to learning difficulties, disability or neurodiversity, for example - I am happy to work with you to establish the most effective and comfortable way to communicate.
What are your qualifications?
I have a level 5 diploma in Person Centred Counselling and I’m a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
